Save $100 This Week with These Top Tips

Who wouldn't love an extra hundred bucks this week?! 🤑 Forget diving into the depths of your couch cushions. They're dark and full of dust bunnies. 🐰💨

If you can make just a couple of small changes in your daily routine, you could wind up with money you didn't know you had! 🥳

Here’s Five Fast ways to save a hundred bucks this week:

  1. 🛒 Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes - We know you love your go-to stores, but changing up your shopping routine could save you more than you think. In addition to checking out a cheaper grocery store, hit up a different gas station that might be a little bit less than your usual fill up spot.
  1. 🍕 Go Big and Stay Home - Even the slightest tweak in your usual plans could result in big savings. If your family orders take-out a couple times a week, cook at home instead. Make your own pizza dough and throw some pies on the grill for a cheap Friday night treat. Get cozy with a movie night this week instead of taking your sweetie out for drinks.
  1. 🙅🏽 Cancel Culture - When's the last time you checked on those subscriptions you're not using? If it's been a minute, breeze through your apps and bank statements and cancel anything you haven't touched lately. It really does add up!
  1. 💅 Ballin' on a Budget - Addicted to your weekly manicure? What about grocery delivery? You don't have to cut these little luxuries out for good, but skipping them for just a week puts cash back in your pocket to use for other things.
  1. 💡 Lights Out - Utility bills are insane right now. If you have a bad habit of leaving lights on, make this week the week you get over it. Turning off electronics you're not using is good for the planet…and your wallet.

🔥Bottom line: You're probably sick of the finance gurus telling you to skip your Starbucks to save for a down payment. We get it. However, the truth is, sometimes you have to give a little up to get a lot in the long run. If you need some extra money, the answer just might be in your spending habits. Another way to save is to stop tipping. We're kidding (sort of). Head here to read up on tipping fatigue in America.
