The 2025 PA Farm Show just wrapped up on January 11th. While we’re waiting for stats from this year’s festivities, let’s get into how the yearly shindig affects the Keystone State (and beyond)! 👇

  1. 🌎 A Global Affair - The PA farm show isn’t just for Pennsylvanians. People from all over the country (and world) hit up this major event. Each year, the Pennsylvania Farm show draws a crowd of almost half a million people. Take that, Taylor Swift.
  2. 💃 Do-Si-Do - The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo in Harrisburg is where the event calls home. The experience at the show gives state fair vibes and showcases PA’s agricultural industry. Fair-goers enjoy everything from food to animal competitions and demonstrations. You might even get yourself into some square dancing!
  1. 🤑 Cha-Ching - The big show generates the state big money, thanks to the rush of farm lovers staying at local hotels, eating at restaurants, and soaking up tourism. It’s estimated that the farm show brings in around $70 million to central PA. 
  1. 🧑‍🌾 Power Hour - The theme for the 2025 show was “Powering Pennsylvania.” During an address at the event, Governor Shapiro spoke about the state’s $10 million Agriculture Innovation Grant Program which aims to boost sustainable farming practices, farmland preservation, and more.
  2. 🐮 Major Moo-lah - Hedge fund managers this, crypto gurus that. PA farmers make their own splash (and don’t post their Rolexes on Instagram). Agricultural businesses in the Keystone State contribute over $130 billion each year to PA’s economy.
