From Philly to Pittsburgh and everywhere in between, the Keystone State is chock full of charming places to call home. 🏘️ It’s no secret PA ranked pretty favorably in a new report of best states to live in!
Here’s Five Fast Facts on why Pennsylvania is a top spot:
- 🏡 Home Stretch - In WalletHub’s report of 2024’s Best States to Live In, PA snagged a top spot. The report compared all 50 states and ranked them according to things like income growth, housing costs, and education and health care quality.
- 🙌 Top Ten - The report ranked Pennsylvania as the number 7 best state to live in for 2024. We love a top ten spot! Good ol’ PA got high fives all around for quality of life and safety. However, it didn’t do so hot in other areas like affordability and economy.
- 📝 Good, Bad, In Between - The Keystone State came in at number three for quality of life and number nine for safety. However, it came up pretty short in its economy ranking (41). PA got middle of the road rankings for education and health (19) and affordability (29).
- 📊 Rank and File - How does PA stack up against other states? Idaho took home the number six spot and Wisconsin comes in after Pennsylvania at number eight. As far as PA’s neighbors go, here are the scores: New Jersey (3), New York (9), Maryland (26), Ohio (30), and Delaware (34).
- 🦞 Yay for Old Bay - Where’s the best state to call home in the U.S.A.? It’s the Bay State, Massachusetts. MA’s number one for education and health, sixth for quality of life, and seventh in safety.
🔥Bottom line: No matter where in PA you call home, we’re sure your town is the bee’s knees! 🐝 The writer of this article might be a *little* biased towards Philly because that’s where all the cool people live (major facts).
