- 🍷 Juicy Jobs - Wine isn't just about sipping, it's also a job creator! PA's wine biz is like a grapevine, supporting over 10,000 jobs and paying out more cash than a vending machine jackpot - a whopping $518.2 million in wages!
- 🥂 Wining and Winning- Who needs gold mines when you've got vineyards? PA's wine industry is a cash cow, pouring a staggering $1.77 billion into the state economy every year. That's a lot of cheddar for some fermented grape juice!
- 🍇 Grow, Grapes, Grow! - PA's grapes are on the rise faster than a helium balloon at a kid's birthday party! Since 2018, grape production has been popping off like champagne corks, growing by almost 1,000 tons a year. That's a whole lotta fruit!
- 💧 Just a Drop - How does PA stack up to other wine producing states? California is the largest wine producer, making over 84% of the nation's wine (680M out of the country's total 800M per year). Washington state comes in at number 2 with 5% (40.7M) and number 3 is New York state with around 3.5% (28M). PA produces 12.4 million gallons per year, or roughly 1.5% of U.S. wine.
