Here’s Five Fast Facts about Ohio's banks:

  1. 💸 Trillion with a T - The Buckeye State currently has 175 banks in operation. Together, they hold over $4.67 trillion in total assets.
  1. 💰 Making Bank - The state’s largest deposit markets include these five urban areas: Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland-Elyria, Columbus, and Toledo.
  1. 🌳 Money Grows on Trees - The two banks with the most branches are Ohio-based: Huntington Bank, headquartered in Columbus, and Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati. The next few on the list are three large national banks: PNC, Chase, and U.S. Bank.
  1. 🙋🏽The Customer's Always Right - Many of Ohio's banks also rank high in customer service. A recent survey showed banks in the North Central region (which includes Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and West Virginia) had the highest scores in the country. Three Ohio-based banks made the top 10: Huntington, Fifth Third Bank, and KeyBank.
  1. 🤠 Is Everything Bigger in TX? - Ohio banks hold more wealth than California, New York, and Texas combined.
