- 😞 Analog World - A previous analysis showed that around 33% of workers in the state lack those required digital skills. Wait a second…didn’t they take Freshman typing class??
- 💨 Good Timing - Perhaps coincidentally (haha!), this analysis comes out riiiiiiight about the same time as $1.5 billion is being delivered to Michigan as a part of the national broadband expansion project.
- 💰 Step Up - The difference between having those digital skills and not having them can be significant. As in, you could see a 23% increase in pay! For employers, allowing their people to upskill into those digital skills can save $25k-$78k in reduced turnover and retention costs! It’s hard to find a better win-win than that!
- 🔍 Details, Please - So what are these “digital skills” we’re talking about? Good news: it’s not rocket science!
