A lot of business-focused organizations put out rankings of the states every year. They rate things like the business environment, costs of living and doing business, and much, much more. We’ve been getting some good news on that front, so let’s enjoy the accolades, fellow Michiganders!
Here are Five Fast Facts on Michigan rocking business:
- ☝️ Top Ten - This year, we landed at #9 on CNBC’s list of best states for business! This is up one spot from last year’s list. Wa-hoo!
- 📈 Under The Covers - Part of Michigan’s rise is due to some great movement in several categories, including going up from 7th to 3rd for cost of living, up from 15th to 8th for business friendliness, and up from 12th to 9th for tech and innovation. #winning
- 👍 Location, Location, Location - Business Facilities’ annual ranking puts Michigan as the best for the auto industry location. No surprise there, but they also ranked us #1 for life sciences, EVs, and more. We’re gonna have to get some additional foam fingers.
- 💻 Tech And Innovation - Business Facilities also put Michigan in the top 10 for semiconductors and customized workforce training. It’s a natural fit with the auto and EV industries, and the innovation we’ve got there has been noticed!
- ⚡ Squeaky Clean - We also landed at #1 for clean energy investments for the second year in a row! All these number ones…if we’re not careful people will think we’re a strip club! 😉🤣
🔥Bottom line: It’s hard to be humble when you’re this great. So…maybe we’ll just enjoy being this great!
