Costco uses CONNECT as an underwriter, a partner of American Family Insurance Mutual Holding Company, and has for the last 20 years. In other words, it’s legit.
- 🚗 Vroom Vroom - Need your vehicle insured? Costco offers traditional car insurance policies and add-ons like roadside assistance and rental car coverage. Got a specialty vehicle? They also offer policies for ATVs, motorcycles, and boats.
- 🏠 Under One Roof - Costco also offers standard home and condo insurance. You can also add coverage for personal property, identity theft protection, and medical liability. If you’re a renter, they have policies for you, too.
- 🌟 Like a Pro - So what are the perks and pros of a Costco policy? For one, they’re backed by a trusted national brand and they receive positive reviews from current policy holders. The biggest perk? Members get access to discounted rates.
- ✋ Not So Fast - And now…the cons. Right now, Costco doesn’t offer insurance in these states: Alaska, California, Louisiana, Maine, North Dakota, Rhode Island, and Wyoming. They also don’t offer new auto or home insurance in Florida. Additionally, their policies might not always be the cheapest out there, so always do a comparison before buying.
