One of the best parts of this time of year is all the holiday lights displays that pop up everywhere. Whether you’re there for the actual lighting ceremony or just visit later to enjoy the spectacle, light displays are one of the highlights of the season for many people. 1. 🟢 Wild Lights - This annual event at the Detroit Zoo is one of the most popular displays in the state. It boasts millions of lights in hundreds of displays and is fun for all ages.

2. 🔴 In The Park - Not that kind of park…the LMCU Ballpark! The Christmas Lite Show is one of the biggest in Western Michigan, with two miles of lights displays and over a million lights.

3. 🟡 Downtown - Rochester’s downtown lights up the night with over a million lights in the Big Bright Light Show every year. Grab some food and do some shopping while you enjoy the lights!

4. 🟣 Down By The River - One of the best lights display traditions in the state is the River Lights of Wonder in Three Rivers. The fantastic lights displays are reflected off the water, creating an incredible effect to light up the night! This community event includes activities like hayrides, firepits, train rides, and more.

5. 🔵 The Lake, Too! Not to be outdone by those river folk, Spring Lake lights up their downtown in the Spring Lake Sparkle with almost half a million lights each year. While you take in the lights, you can get some tasty food and drinks from the local shops!
